The Powell County Commissioners will hold a public meeting to gather input regarding draft Preliminary Engineering Reports and the submittal of a Treasure State Endowment Program (TSEP) application for the replacement of two bridges over the Little Blackfoot River: 1) the Willow Road Bridge in Elliston and 2) the Chokecherry Lane Bridge located 4.5 miles west of Avon.
Meetings will be held at the following times and locations:
Monday, March 16, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. at the Elliston School
Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. at the Avon Community Center
The County is considering submitting an application to the Montana Department of Commerce for a TSEP Grant and wants to obtain public comment on the proposal. The Commissioners will discuss the purpose of the TSEP Program, the key components, and the costs of the proposal. At the public meeting, everyone will be allowed to express their opinion regarding the County’s application. Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing.
