Powell County Community Center
The Clerk and Recorder’s office handles the rental for the Community Center. The Clerk and Recorder will handle the deposits and payments from those renting the center and a fax will be sent to your office when payment and deposit are made to them. The key will be given to the renters by the Clerk and Recorder’s office during the courthouse hours whenever possible and it will be returned to this office the following week day if rented on a weekend.
Organizations NOT required to pay for the use of the Center:

Girl and Boy Scouts
U.C.F. Advisory
4-H Clubs
Food Pantry
Lions Club
55 Alive (AARP)
Tri-County Fair Market Committee
Department of Natural Resource Council
Any County employees having county affiliated meeting
