This office serves as an outreach function of Montana State University dedicated to improving the quality of people's lives by providing research-based knowledge to strengthen the social, economic and environmental well-being of families, communities and agricultural enterprises.
Powell County Extension Service assists in coordinating the Adult Education Classes held in Deer Lodge. Spring 2013 Adult Ed Class Schedule is available HERE.
The Powell County Extension Office has seed potatoes available to order. Orders must be in our office by April 1 and potatoes will arrive mid-April. You will need to bring your own containers when picking up your potatoes. The order form is available HERE.

The Extension Office frequently uses the Cow-Calf Management Guide as a resource when asked questions on cattle production. This resource is now available on-line for everyone to use. Click on the yellow book cover to use this resource.
