JUST IN TIME WILDFIRE MITIGATION ACTIONS

Actions to take before you evacuate your home or leave your home during wildfire season

 

  • Remove all combustible materials at least 30 feet from a structure. This includes firewood, deck furniture, gas cans, equipment, lawnmowers, anything that can burn.
  • Post your address of your structure so fire personnel can easily see it.
  • Remove all combustible material from underneath a structure and decks
  • Remove all fuels such as leaves, dead vegetation, sticks, needles away from structures for at least 5 feet from structures. Do not pile these materials.
  • Mow grass, limb trees, remove all debris and construction materials away from structures for at least 30 feet.
