AIRPORT MANAGER
Position Overview:
This position is located at Deer Lodge City/Powell County Airport and is responsible for light maintenance of the airport equipment, maintaining the grounds and premises, monitoring and enforcing building standards, acting as a liaison with the public, pilots and Board, snow removal, reporting of accidents as necessary, monitoring of FAA regulations and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the County Commissioners and the Airport Board. The position does not supervise other County employees.

POWELL COUNTY RURAL DISPOSAL
The Powell County Rural Dump District is accepting applications for a FULL-TIME Driver (all of Powell County). The part time position does not include benefits. The driver will be on a 6 month probation period with a one year trial.
The position requires maintaining and caring for dumpsites and hauling dumpsters to the Deer Lodge Landfill. A Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required. This position has the potential of leading into a full time position with benefits. Preference given to mechanical experience. Pay starting at $26.00 per hour depending on experience. Maximum 39 hours per week.

COUNTY EXTENSION AGENT
The Powell County Extension Agent will provide leadership and facilitate educational programs in the identified focus areas. Emphases for this full-time position are Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Horticulture, and 4-H Youth Development. Educational opportunities with Family and Consumer Sciences and Community Development may occur. This position supervises one half-time administrative assistant and fulfills the responsibilities of the County Commission. We seek individuals who work professionally and effectively with diverse individuals, possess effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to contribute positively to the academic success of the students and the mission of Montana State University.
